The Seal n Lock System was developed as the only "all in one day" sealer paving product line. This paver sealer was designed to be applied to damp pavestones, allowing you to wash the paver area and then immediately seal it. Sealing returns the natural look of the pavers, eliminating color fade and giving protection that lasts for years.
Unique to this product is that it "locks" the sand joints in place as it dries, preventing maintenance issues such as weeds growing in the sand joints. Once the pavers are all locked down, water cannot get under the pavers through the sand joints, preventing damage from heaving due to frost and preventing the recurrence of efflourescence.
Contractors, your service can include cleaning and re-sanding and sealing economically with this product because you can do all these services in just one trip. The skills required are easily learned from video training or through the Seal 'n Lock Applicator Training classes.
Available in two finishes, Natural Luster and Super Wet.
Natural Luster is virtually invisible on pavers and brick. This high-solids, urethane-modified acrylic sealer (with an algae and mold inhibitor) quickly soaks into the pavers to provide a protective barrier. This formulation wears evenly and will last as long as solvent based sealers. Typically, the application rate will vary from 150 to 175 sq. ft. per gallon; however this rate will vary depending on the texture and absorption rate of the pavers and the width of the paver joints.
Super Wet imparts a slight sheen that makes the pavers look fresh and new. Super Wet is a high solids, two-part water based pure urethane sealer that provides a longer lasting protective barrier with superior joint stabilization - no need to use polymeric sand. The resulting 'wet look' is what your customers are really looking for. This pure urethane formula wears evenly and lasts longer than solvent based sealers. Typically, the application rate will vary from 150 to 200 sq. ft. per gallon; however this rate will vary depending on the texture and absorption rate of the pavers and the width of the paver joints.
Both types are completely user-friendly and environmentally safe. Either can be used on almost any masonry surface, including brick, block, and even many types of stone. The cost for material is less that 30 cents per square foot, making it economical, practical, and profitable to use the Seal n Lock system.
