This 2-day event starts out identifying how to select and buy the right equipment for the work you do, how to set up a contractor-friendly pressure wash rig, basic cleaning techniques, the chemistry of cleaning, and the environmental compliance aspect of cleaning. This is a fast-paced course designed to give a student a full range of information useful to contractors. Students will receive a Certificate of Completion for this course, which is an excellent marketing tool for any business.
From there, they move right into Marketing and Bidding for your new business. Starting with the basic elements of bidding and progressing right through to closing the sale, you get to see the entire process unfold. How do you reach customers? What do you say when you have their attention? How do you qualify new leads? How do you bid so that you don't leave any money on the table? How do you close a sale? How do you schedule work when the weather plays havoc? How do you handle customer complaints - and keep the customer?

Weather-permitting, for example, you will be able to use an X-Jet and a shooter tip to compare these two methods. This is a Certification course with an online exam, and successfully passing the exam will earn you a Certificate that will become one of the cornerstones of your marketing plan.
They then go into Roof Cleaning, the hottest new market for pressure wash contractors in the last ten years! You will learn from experienced contractors how to identify prospective clients, how to explain what is causing the discoloration of their roofs, and why they should hire you to do fix the problem instead of another contractor.
You will get a complete rundown of the different tools and methods used to do this work, and (weather permitting) they include some "hands-on" time with some of those techniques. This is another Contractors Foundation Certification course with an online exam, and successfully passing the exam will earn you a Certificate that will become one of the cornerstones of your marketing plan.
After a break for lunch, they move into Wood Restoration 101. This class covers all of the basic elements of wood cleaning and sealing, with a focus on decks and fences. This class has launched hundreds of successful contractors over the last decade or two. This is the oldest and most respected Wood class available anywhere, from the Instructors who have been there from the start.
This is one more Contractors Foundation Certification course with an online exam, and successfully passing the exam will earn you a Certificate that will become one of the cornerstones of your marketing plan.
There will be alternative classes scheduled for students not moving into Wood Restoration.
