This is a revolutionary new product! Up until now, the easiest way for removing artillery (shotgun) fungus spores was to use a hammer and chisel. This new cleaner changes everything!
This is the first product designed specifically to help you remove the ugly spots formed by artillery fungus and other organic stains. There is no other remover product like it. Our field testing showed removal of the spores with as little as 60 minutes of dwell time (approximately 80% of shotgun fungus spores on our test house were dissolved). Typical dwell time needed can be up to four hours. Some have even left it on the surface overnight to get the removal rate to the maximum. Dwell time depends on how old and how severe the amount of spore staining is.
Artillery Fungus Remover is a thick, gelled formula. Do not dilute. Easy to apply with a brush, roller, or airless sprayer. Coverage depends on the severity of the problem, but is typically around 75 sq. ft. per gallon. Once applied, cover with sheet plastic to help prevent drying out. Allow to sit for enough time to soften the hard spores. Once they are softened, you may clean the area with hot water by pressure washing or brushing with a stiff brush. Some folks have seen good results scrubbing with a Magic Eraser.
Recent stains might be 100% removed. Older stains might be just 50% removed. The results you get depend on the age of the infestation and the cleaning techniques you use (such as using hot water and being very patient).
The key to being able to successfully remove these spots from buildings and siding is to get to the problem as soon as possible. Infestations that are cleaned within a few weeks after occurrence can almost always be completely removed. After a few months of the spores hardening on any surface, however, your chance of completely removing all traces will be significantly reduced.
NOTE: The manufacturer recommends testing the product on an inconspicuous area before any general application. Paint may be affected by this product. Use on vinyl siding or brick should not present a problem, but always test.
Once you have removed or minimized as many of the specks as possible, the next step is to prevent further spotting. Most experts recommend completely removing all natural mulch and soil from the area and replacing it with non-organic mulch.
The manufacturer does not make any recommendation for or against the use of this product on automotive paint. It is recommended for use on house siding, RV's, and more.
Artillery Spores and More is a multi-purpose cleaner. Use it on:
