This new patent-pending tool is a very different and technical approach to cleaning gutters with the power of water. It quick-connects to the end of your telescoping wand (not included), in place of the more traditional gutter hook. It features two nozzles strategically aligned to direct the spray from the back of the gutter channel towards the front, which results in the leaves and dirt being directed out and away from the house - rather than causing half of the debris to land on the roof behind the gutter.
The Gutter Ball uses the full PSI force of your pressure washer, so you move even heavy clumps without missing a beat. It cleans in a single pass, without having to double back to clean the roof and then re-doubling back to re-clean the gutters. With this design, we found that using a telescoping wand (and keeping your feet on the ground) can be the most efficient way to clean gutters!
The Gutter Ball design is a unique aluminum round-ball nozzle-holder. The key to this design is that it rides against the back side of the gutter. That places the nozzles at the back and the bottom of the gutter channel. It glides without any "drag" - even if there are rough seams. The inventor suggests using a twisting motion as you move it down the gutter path, and we found that motion made the tool work really well.
We put together a (very) amateur video of one of our tests, which you can click on below. See first-hand how well it worked on one of our first tries. We demonstrate that anybody can use this device right from the start! When we timed ourselves, we saved about 60% of our time compared to cleaning with a step ladder and about 30% of out time over walking this ranch house roof to clean. When you consider the cost of the Gutter Ball, it only takes a few jobs to pay for itself. After that, it starts paying YOU off!
